1. Check the road conditions.
The road surface is easy to cause water on the ground in rainy days. In mines and construction sites, many work roads were washed by heavy rain and pitted and piled up with mud, and the roads became abnormally slippery. In such a situation, the operator must carefully check the road conditions and not start work rashly to ensure safety first.
2. Pay attention to the construction site.
After confirming that it is possible to work, always pay attention to the road surface and surrounding environment. Avoid that the excavator is too close to the edge of cliffs and ditches, where the ground is soft, and the excavator's own weight and vibration can easily cause the machine to fall or tip over. At the same time, it is necessary to prevent the machine from working in the valley to prevent rainwater from gathering on the mountain to flood the machine.
If it is working at night, the front and rear headlights, work lights, top lights, instrument lights, wipers and other equipment of the excavator need to be checked regularly to ensure normal operation.
3. Be careful when parking the excavator.
If possible, it is best to park the excavator in the garage to avoid excessive humidity. If you need to park for a long time, you should regularly engine the battery to charge the battery. When parking in the open air, do not park in dangerous areas, such as mountain sides that are prone to landslides and landslides, or rivers where water levels are prone to rise.
4. Pay attention to maintenance in rainy days.
Paint surface: The acidic components in the rain have a corrosive effect on the paint surface of the excavator. In the rainy season, it is best to give the excavator a paint finish in advance. Try to re-apply grease to the areas that need to be lubricated to prevent corrosion and wear.
Lubrication: After the machine is stored for a long time, the grease on the piston rod should be wiped off, and all parts should be filled with grease. Keep the working device dry and clean when the machine is parked, so as to avoid rust and make the machine inefficient.
Chassis: If it is not cleaned in time on rainy days, some gaps on the underside of the excavator are likely to accumulate sludge. The chassis of the excavator is most prone to rust and stains, and the wheel shell may even be loose and perforated. Therefore, it is necessary to shake off the soil by the unilateral support truck, clean the chassis to prevent corrosion, check whether the screws are loose, and clean up the place where there is water in time to avoid the corrosion of the machine that affects the work performance.
Engine: Regularly check whether the engine wiring harness is loose or corroded, and avoid moisture at the joints.
Air filter: Rain water may enter the air filter when it is raining, and the deterioration of the filter element will affect the air intake.
Oil gauge caliper: Pay attention to check whether the oil gauge caliper seal ring is worn, and whether the oil filler port is tightly sealed. If the seal is not good, rainwater may seep into the oil. The mixture of oil and water will cause the engine to emit white smoke and affect the working performance.
