The role of bucket shaft and shaft sleeve in construction machinery

The hinged parts composed of bucket shaft and bushing (sliding bearing) are commonly

used hinged devices for construction machinery operating devices such as excavators,

loaders, bulldozers, cranes, boom concrete pump trucks, aerial work vehicles, etc.

Qualified hinges should have Reasonable fitting clearance, which can store grease

to ensure that the bucket shaft and the shaft sleeve reduce wear and resistance during relative movement.

The reasonable fit clearance of the hinge can leave a certain space for the thermal

expansion caused by the relative movement of the pin and the shaft sleeve to prevent it from sintering.

If the articulation gap is too poor, it will cause loose fit between the pin shaft and the sleeve,

vibration, impact and partial wear, resulting in increased wear or fracture of the bucket shaft,

and even serious equipment and personal accidents. The excessive articulation gap will also

cause deviation and shaking of the operation device of the construction machinery,

resulting in a decrease in the accuracy and efficiency of the operation. Therefore,

maintaining a reasonable hinge gap of the hinge is an important part of improving the reliability of construction machinery.
